Note: 500 S&W Mag. & 475 Linebaugh Max - Reloaders are using our rifle ammo box RSLD-50 for 50 rounds and the R-100-MAG for 100 rounds.

The 50GI will only fit in a P64-50, it is a poor fit and once fired you can not reach the cases in the compartments. We recommend using the FL-1 foam liner kits to stop rattle.

500 Linebaugh Max - The only box that we have is our rifle ammo box RF22-SM. They fit loose and will fall out of their dividers unless you use a foam liner.

Dear MTM,

I’m sending you this “atta boy” regarding the Ammo Wallet. It’s the best thing that MTM makes. I have been using these things made for 357 and 44 Magnum cartridges for many years. I have been getting a lot of interest on the 38/357, 6-round ammo wallet from the women that I teach to shoot. They say it looks like a small makeup case and they don’t have to worry about what people might think if they see it in their purse. The same is said for the 12-round ammo wallet but the 6-round is the favorite by far. It just doesn't raise suspicions or worries when seen by the easily frightened public.

I began hunting in the ’80s with the 357 and an Ammo Wallet went with me every time. When I moved up to the 44 Magnum I quickly got an Ammo Wallet for that cartridge too. It’s so convenient that once you’ve had and used one you don’t want to go a field without it. I’ve moved up to larger calibers, (the 45 Colt and the 454 Casull,) and I’m a little disappointed that MTM doesn’t make Ammo Wallets for these cartridges. No worries, as it turns out the 18-round 44 caliber Ammo Wallet will hold 12 rounds of 45 Colt or 454. I just put them in two adjacent spaces, skip a space and fill two more for a total of 6 cartridges on each side which makes 12 cartridges in all. That is really all a hunter might need to carry with him. I like being able to carry two or three different loads in the wallet so I can change cartridges quickly, quietly and easily, all while keeping everything clean and dry. Fired cases can be kept in there too. Keeping things clean and dry doesn’t seem to go well with field carry of ammunition. The Ammo Wallet solves the problem in a big way. I just wish they were made for the larger handgun hunting calibers. I’d bet the guys that shoot the 475s and the 50s would love to have an Ammo Wallet for their cartridges. I’d get one for each caliber I hunt with. Maybe one day they'll be offered. Otherwise, I’m a satisfied and loyal customer of the MTM Ammo Wallet. I recommend them highly.
